When I lived in Central Mexico I had the opportunity to ride my mountain bike up into the high Sierra Madre Mountains. The terrain is breathtaking (literally) reaching 8,000 feet in some places, with views to match. However there was always the threat of falling! Not just off the trail and down the mountain, but also onto one of the thousands of cactus’s that grow in these areas!
