DESCRIPTION:
One of a series of seven works I painted in Vancouver Canada for a show entitled: “The Ocean, the Forest, and What’s Between. The idea was to respond in a creative way to what it was like to be living in North Vancouver. This is an area of the city built along a thin strip of habitable land located between the Pacific Ocean to the West, and the 5,000 foot North Shore forested mountains to the East. “Ocean One” is one of three paintings depicting the ocean element,, there are three works depicting human, three depicting the forest, and one large painting which is a combination of all three.
