DESCRIPTION:

Hibiscus is a genus of plants in the

mallow family. It is quite large,

containing about 200–220 species

that are native to warm regions

throughout the world. I painted this

piece in my studio in Melaque Mexico,

the light and warmth could not be

duplicated anywhere else. Whenever

I see this painting I remember vividly

what it was like to be there painting

under the warm tropical sun.
