DESCRIPTION: Growing in my garden in Vancouver Canada these delicate seed pods seemed to capture the sunlight and radiate like lanterns. The pods start out a green color, turn orange, and then as the summer comes to an end the outer shell disintegrates. This leaves a delicate lattice of veins through which one can see the fruit (seed) inside. |
