DESCRIPTION:
My wife is from the Mexican town of Cuernavaca, just 100 klms South East of Mexico City. There is a huge market in the center of the town, about the size of a football stadium where they sell most everything you can imagine. The fruits and vegetables are amazing especially as seen through my English eyes. There is one long isle where they sell nothing but avocados, probably 20 – 30 vendors all competing for same customers! In order to distinguish themselves as having the best stall, the vendors build sculptures out of the produce, in this case, great towers of avocados. Here then is my homage to the fruit and veg artists of Cuernavaca.
